Following her afternoon keynote address, Kaye Foster-Cheek, left, spoke with MA-HRIR student Jillian DeMello. Foster-Cheek, Vice President of Human Resources for Johnson & Johnson, titled her presentation, “The Leadership Imperative: A Candid and Personal Discussion” and highlighted Johnson & Johnson’s transformation journey and how that journey is enabling HR to become more efficient and effective in driving the company’s leadership and growth agenda. Close to 300 people attended the 2007 HR Tomorrow Conference titled, “Win Your Talent War: Attract, Develop, Motivate and Retain.” The conference attracted HR professionals from the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota, and across the country, as well as alumni and students of the Carlson School’s Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations (HRIR) program, and faculty and staff of that program.
